Brandyn Romo
I joined the Yellowstone-West/Carbon County Special Services Cooperative team as the Director in 2021. It has been so rewarding to support our outstanding team of specialists and to serve our 16 rural school districts. My background includes sixteen years as a school psychologist, most recently in the Roosevelt/Valley Special Education Cooperative in northeastern Montana. During that time I also served the Office of Public Instruction as a Montana Behavior Initiative Consultant for Region I. Prior to returning to my home state of Montana, I was a school psychologist and counselor in southwestern Idaho where I was actively involved in the state’s school psychologist association. I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Minot State University, a Master’s degree in Adult, Community, and Higher Education from Montana State University, and an Education Specialist degree in School Psychology from the University of Idaho.
In my free time I love spending time with my two young adult children, Summer and Colter, and my husband, Chanon. We enjoy the outdoors: camping, fly fishing, hiking, boating, canoeing, and gardening.
I can be reached via email at the following link or by phone at the cooperative office 406-633-4039.
